Anne of Green Gables is one hundred years old today! That kindred spirit is celebrated at Imagination Island, in the Rachelville area. There are many links available here as well. Its a very impressive collection, brought to you by Rocky Vallejo, Cindy Elkhart and BrianA Corleone. The lovely gramophone was build by Rocky. I think he should open an antiques shoppe.As long as you are going to visit, be sure to check out the American Folk Art exhibit in the plaza area. And, if that weren't enough, go see the new library building! It still houses the wonderful mythic collection, but in an entirely new building. Its great.
Ok, still not motivated to go over? There is a new pub as well! Cindy really outdid herself on this one. Its a warm and charming place to hang out.
Here is a perfect example of what SL is all about. Impressive builds, interesting information, and the greatest people! Rocky, Cindy, and Brian are some of my dearest friends. They are consistently kind, thoughtful, and just plain fun to be with! They are pretty darn smart too! So, go on over and wish Anne a happy birthday, um, year? You won't regret it.
